About bluespring
Built for the people doing hard public work.
bluespring provides compliance-first fundraising and financial infrastructure for campaigns, committees, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, community organizations, and public-facing causes.
raise more. stress less.
Modern infrastructure for regulated organizations
We believe you deserve financial infrastructure that is modern, compliant, transparent, and easy to use. Our product was designed by operators with more than 25 years of campaign experience and deep regulated payments expertise to solve the challenges of existing fundraising platforms.
The current fundraising ecosystem forces candidates and organizations to navigate fragmented systems, rising compliance complexity, manual reporting burdens, and costly transaction fees, often while operating under intense public scrutiny.
bluespring was created to reduce that friction and give organizations the tools they need to focus on their mission, their communities, and the work that matters most.
Build trusted financial infrastructure that empowers campaigns, committees, and nonprofits to raise and manage money with greater confidence, efficiency, transparency, and long-term sustainability.
Five years from now, we want the people doing difficult public work to deeply trust something we built.
More than payment processing
Built around the work treasurers and fundraisers actually do.
bluespring combines payment infrastructure, compliance automation, and donor intelligence into one operating layer for regulated fundraising environments.
Proven infrastructure
The underlying infrastructure supporting bluespring has already processed billions of dollars in highly regulated benefit payments for states including Florida, Texas, California, and Georgia.
Payment infrastructure
Accept contributions and manage money through systems built for regulated work.
Compliance operations
Give treasurers and staff cleaner records, faster reconciliation, and fewer gaps.
Fundraising intelligence
Help teams understand supporters, improve outreach, and grow more sustainably.
Our approach
Empowering candidates and organizations, not exploiting them.
Too many fundraising platforms have built business models around extracting as much revenue as possible from campaigns and nonprofits already operating under enormous pressure. We believe there is a better approach.
bluespring is being built as durable infrastructure for trusted public-facing organizations, not as a short-term growth experiment.
What that means
More money stays with the mission.
Lower, clearer fees help campaigns and nonprofits keep more of what they raise.
Less operational risk for the people in charge.
Compliance-aware tools and cleaner records reduce the burden on treasurers, staff, and executive directors.
A platform that strengthens the organization.
The product is designed to build long-term fundraising capacity, not dependency.
Built with operators in mind
Designed for candidates and the people responsible for the books.
Candidates are often the face of fundraising, but treasurers, finance teams, and executive directors carry the operational and legal responsibility. bluespring is built for both.
Our approach combines practical campaign experience, compliance awareness, and financial infrastructure expertise to create systems that are intuitive enough for first-time candidates while powerful enough for experienced finance professionals and organizations operating at scale.
Leadership
Experienced across politics, nonprofits, and regulated payments.
Co-Founder & CEO
Michael is a communications professional and elected official who has worked for nearly 30 years at the intersection of politics, policy, and nonprofit leadership. He has led national advocacy initiatives, run nonprofits, and helped corporations navigate periods of significant operational and reputational challenge.
As both a political candidate and longtime operator within regulated fundraising environments, Michael recognized the growing gap between the demands placed on campaigns and nonprofits and the outdated financial tools available to support them. bluespring was founded in response to that gap.
Co-Founder & COO
Joshua is a fintech leader with deep experience building and operating large-scale payment systems in highly regulated environments. His technology supported platforms responsible for processing billions of dollars in public-sector benefit payments for major state governments.
Joshua leads the bluespring platform and infrastructure development with a focus on resilient, trustworthy systems for campaigns, committees, and nonprofits operating in high-accountability environments.
